4-Way Volleyball
| Description: |
2 Nets criss-cross creating a nice X. One team is in each side and the game is played much like volleyball |
| Preparation: |
Prior to the nets erection, the field should be inspected for hazards like holes or rocks which could result in injuries. If the field can't be cleared, then a different location should be selected. |
| Basics: |
Mostly plays just like volleyball
|
| Instructions: |
- There are four teams instead of two, and two nets are placed across each other to form an X
- Scoring starts at 0 and teams get a point every time they make a mistake
- Score fifteen points and you're out
- Dead courts (areas left vacant by a team being eliminated) are out of bounds
- Service is by the team counter-clockwise from the team making the error
- We rotate courts any time any team reaches a score divisible evenly by four
- If there are only two teams left, they must move to diagonally opposite courts (the Haubenstricker amendment).

The Winter Camp classic par 62 hole |

Rangers/Campmaster should be consulted to determine if the lake is considered safe, prior to the event so we can declare the lakes out of bounds if necessary. |
| Basics: |
Test your skills on our Par 62 course. Teams tee off at the Beaver Creek Skills building and attempt to put the ball in the cup, which is located at the nearby BC Field Sports area. |
| Instructions: |
- The game is played as teams, with a fixed rotation, kind of like batting order in baseball.
- If a player can strike the ball again without moving his/her feet, then they can take a free stroke; this is the Rand Rule.
- Most other rules are the same as reqular golf.

Viral Infestation (Reverse Cto)
| Description: |
Attempt to infect your enemy's base. |
| Preparation: |
Play area should be selected to minimize hazards. In particular, each team's base should be in a clear area. We also need to mark areas with known hazards (thorns, fences, etc) as out of bounds. |
| Basics: |
In this version of Capture the Objective, your goal is to plant your viral markers near the enemy base and steal their flag without being caught. |
| Instructions: |
How do we win?Teams score points based on placing their infestation markers in their opponent's base. - Each viral marker within 50' of an opponent's base scores 10 points.
- Each of another team's markers in possession of one of your team members is worth 5 points. This includes both markers taken when capturing someone and any marker which is discovered after being placed.
- Stealing an opponent's flag is worth 50 points.
The team with the most points wins. Rules- Have fun. It's a game and it's meant to be fun. Arguing is about as fun as aardvark imitation.
- Each team is assigned an area and chooses a base within their area; the base should be a named site, like Cow Camp or Indianwood. Teams must dispatch at least one person to their base to place their team's flag.
- Roads between areas are neutral territory.
- Teams attempt to place their viral markers within 50' of their opponents' bases. Only one marker can be placed by each person at a time. Example: if Bill and Todd make their way to another team's base, they can place only one marker each before they have to go back to neutral territory.
- Players in enemy territory can be captured by tagging them. They have to turn over a viral marker, then return to their base.
- The game ends after two hours or when no team has their own flag (a viral outbreak). Players will have to travel to bases to reveal where they've hidden markers and score if they are still there.
|
| Equipment: |
Each team will need a number of viral markers, probably 40. These should by three dimensional and at least 2” on a side and a way to mark their base, typically a flag. |
