Basics of the activity
Either through the use of construction kits or by putting together genius night style bags of components each team must build a robot which is capable of achieving some goal. This could be combat oriented or it could be something less martial like line following, rope climbing, an obstacle course or a maze to navigate.
We could use control circuitry from RC cars - I have two reasonably decent ones that could be scavenged for the cause.
