Looks like another ex-DAC staff member is going to work in the Western Region office.
I haven't been on unicycle yet. The seat sits too high. I've got to cut it down to my size. I guess I got the Rob Hartwig edition.

Uh oh, haven't heard from Ethan in a while. Could he have broken his fool neck trying to ride that contraption?

Hobby update: I purchased a unicycle yesterday. If the weather stays crazy warm, I might try to get going outside on it soon.

As of Monday I am to report to the new Dearborn Truck Assembely Plant as per my request submitted on the Monday before Thanksgiving. I as of now do not know what shift that I will be on, after the orientation process, but will keep everyone updated.

Just a quick update on the WCFS money. We had $350 as of WC XXXI camp and accepted two additional contributions at the current basis of $35 per member, resulting in a total of $420. I invested the money actively through the first quarter of 2008, netting a 13.7% return for the first quarter. I saw troubling signs in the market and decided that WCFS could not take the risks associated with trading in those types of market conditions and pulled the money fom stocks and put in into money market. Rates earned in money market accounts varied substantially throughout the year, but the general return over the period averaged 3.5 percent.
So, to make a long story short, the overall return on the WCFS money for 2008 was 17.5 percent and the total in the account as of December31, 2008 was $493.50.
Respectfully Submitted,
Ron Donohue
WCFS Treasurer

Does anyone have a picture of 4 way volleyball? I was too busy playing to take any pictures of it and I think that would be a good one to include in the article.
Feel free to email it to me if you have one: firemouth@gmail.com

I don't know if it would fit Dream Catcher, which seems to be very forward looking.
On the other hand, if you wanted to pick two or three pictures, we could do a feature story on Migisi.org - just drop me the article, pictures and captions...

Is anyone planning (or has already) submitted any type of article about how awesome Winter Camp was this year to be published either via migisi.org or "The Dream Catcher" ?
If we haven't already, I think we should submit an article with a few pictures about Wintercamp. I think it would be good to start off our Wintercamp XXXIII promotion with an article about XXXII.
I'll volunteer to put something together if nobody else has already started on something.

I'd use it. Jackpot grits is very important to my Winter Camp expeience each year.

So I'm thinking about adding a "jackpot grits" tool to the site. Basically, you tell it what ingredients you have available, give it a rough guess at how many you want in each bowl and it generates your bowl of random grits.
You could then record your rating for that particular bowl of grits.
The system would keep track of your ingredients over time (allowing you to make changes as needed) and would let you review your jackpot grits consumption.
Anyone besides me think they'd use this?
