Current Entry: Kimballs' Dinner
This meal arose during the planning meeting for Winter Camp XX. As new meal themes were being proposed, someone came up with the idea of making a random phone call, asking the people on the other end what they were having for dinner, and incorporating that meal into the Winter Camp menu. A number was generated with a collection of 10-sided dice, and Steve Donohue began calling. Early calls to Manitoba, Ontario, and New Jersey were unanswered or went to disconnected lines, but on the fourth random area code, the Kimball family of Grace, ID answered. Amazingly for the day after Thanksgiving, they were not having leftover turkey, but were planning a spaghetti dinner. The meal was duly planned, but was not served as the Caveman Dinner was voted in during the Future Society meeting.
