Steve Clark pitched the idea for a theme day where events from various holiday celebrations would make up a day's agenda at Winter Camp XXIII, and launched the day by scattering small wrapped toys on everyone's bunk during the early morning hours. As Labor Day holds holiday status, this day was combined with Winter Camp's traditional service project. A World Christmas dinner was served, and the Hobby Draw was appropriately transformed into "New Year's Resolutions".
