Current Entry: Hatchet Throwing
Participants at Winter Camp XXV joined in the Viking theme on Day One when they gathered at Brookside campsite to toss hatchets at simple targets. These targets, drawn on wire reel ends provided by Paul Kupser, depicted a devil face and the Winter Camp logo. The targets were remarkably resistant to hatchets-Keith King stuck a hatchet in the stump against which they leaned, but no one successfully stuck a hatchet in an actual target.
