This Winter Camp XV snack followed the same format as the Beggars' Banquet from Winter Camp XIII. A cooking crew controlled all access to the evening's cookies, and campers were required to beg before the cooks-Josh Davis, John Howey, and Jeff Rand-in order to eat. The desperation of the collective crew came to a head when the trio of cooks released a pan of cookies into the crowd. Truly primitive behavior was observed as Arrowmen battled for their share of the snack. Visitor Joy Wilson was on hand for this event, and as a result, most Winter Camp observers agree that behavior was much subdued due to the presence of a non-participant. On the other hand, Joy thought that the event's madness had actually been scaled up for her benefit.
