Current Entry: Giant Popcorn Snack
The idea behind this Winter Camp XXIV snack, on Real Genius Day, was to replicate the scene in that film where a garbage can full of popcorn is popped. While a small garbage can was purchased for the event, preliminary testing without popcorn indicated that the metal couldn't stand much fire, and an oversized pot was substituted. Despite popcorn engineer Dave Woods' best efforts, however, the mass of popcorn failed to blow the lid off the pot.
