Current Entry: Giant Jenga
As part of the GIANT! theme of Winter Camp XXXIII, Keith King arranged for the manufacture of Jenga pieces made from sections of 2 × 4 lumber, and while the game was an unscheduled activity, it attracted much attention throughout the weekette. Traditional rules prevailed for some campers, and in the competition that ran the length of camp, Timmy Kasprzak took top honors for his one-person achievement of 32 levels. On Day One, Steve Donohue invented the "Don't Break The Ice!" variation, which required that blocks be dislodged using a mallet and an intermediate rod. A six-man team raised a tower to 31 levels in this format. A later game in DBTI mode inadvertently delayed the Blind Beggar's Banquet as lunch was delayed while everyone waited for a game to finish.
