This five-time breakfast experience was a competitive pancake-eating match. At Winter Camp IV, it was a team event where the three patrols faced off; it has otherwise been an individual challenge. In the days when the Winter Camp equipment list ran to eight or more pages, one piece of equipment desired-but never located-was a standardized pancake batter dispenser which would guarantee uniform cakes and facilitate an easier scoring system.
