Again with an eye toward a streamlined food service, this meal was introduced as an experiment at Winter Camps XIX and XX, where it was served on the service project day. The fare is simple-a sandwich spread is laid out by a skeleton kitchen crew-and the Winter Camp service tradition can continue with minimal interruption. The meal returned at Winter Camps XXVIII and XXXVI; in the latter year, demand for Winter Camp-baked bread outstripped that for commercial white bread.
