Current Entry: Chinese Percussion
As part of the Ancient China theme at Winter Camp XXXVI, campers were summoned to meals by a gong. Also part of the weekette was a musical interlude which extended "percussion" to include flutes carved from bamboo. Particularly successful in the carving and playing were Ben Green and Alan Wilson. Upholding the percussion theme of the event, Ethan Rein led campers in a spirited rendition of the Class A Clap on clappers from-appropriately enough-the Oriental Trading Company.
