Jeff Rand put together the rules for this Winter Camp XXXII event, and he and several other adults served as "UN Representatives" overseeing the battle. Two teams, blue and white (or Nazis and Communists), were directed to place 25 balloons of their color within about 10 feet of Beaver Creek behind Clearwater cabin. The two teams were then ordered to switch sides and break their own balloons using only natural weapons. This proved difficult at first, but certain good strategies emerged over time-however, the blue team's "Staten Island Project" led by Ethan Rein and aimed at developing a superweapon proved ultimately unsuccessful. At the end, the white team was declared the winner.
