Jeff Rand's first extended work of Winter Camp fiction debuted as a serial on the Winter Camp Web site in September 2000. Numerous descendants of 20th century Winter Campers, and campers themselves, dot the cast list as ATS opens at Winter Camp LIV in 2030. ATS was dubbed "probably the most dangerous serial ever" in its Web debut. After a romp through northeastern North America and a climax involving the ultimate impact of Winter Camp on the world and of the world on Winter Camp, the serial concluded in mid-2003. ATS was bound and offered for sale on Winter Camp's CafePress Web site beginning in 2003.
