Current Entry: Airdrop Murder Clue
Murder Clue was enhanced at Winter Camp XXVII, when pilot Roger Horn and Doug Wilson flew Roger's airplane over the Ordeal site and dropped clues, in the form of messages written on streamers attached to glow sticks, to waiting campers. 20 of the 28 clues were successfully retrieved (one was located 20' up in a tree near the Chippewa Swamp, but Ron Donohue and John Howey were unable to dislodge it), and the fun continued into camp as participants searched the various sites within Beaver Creek for Mr. Boddy's killer and the weapon used. In the end, two of the three teams came to the correct conclusion that it was Jamie White who committed the murder, with a computer cable. Much fun was had by all, and it was decided that the best strategy was the use of wit and half-truths. Team #3, led by Nick Bibee, Mark Bollman-->, Ron Donohue, and John Howey, proudly declared victory since they finished first with the most time reduction certificates, and sang their team anthem ("Number three/Number three/We will clobber all the others easily") in triumph.
