Current Entry: Pecking Order
This informal tradition has arisen over the course of the first two Winter Camp decades as a means of settling disputes over bunk selection at camp. When two or more campers wish the same bunk, priority is (in theory-there is no evidence that the pecking order has ever been used) given in the following order:
- Person who has attended the most Winter Camps.
- Person who has spent the most nights at Winter Camp.
- Person who has attended the earliest Winter Camp.
These data are maintained by Jeff Rand. For example: At the end of Winter Camp XL, Dave Woods with 11 camps, 44 nights and a first appearance of 1990 was ahead of Tom Ray with 11 camps, 38 nights and a first camp of 1988.
