Current Entry: Pecking Order

This informal tradition has arisen over the course of the first two Winter Camp decades as a means of settling disputes over bunk selection at camp. When two or more campers wish the same bunk, priority is (in theory-there is no evidence that the pecking order has ever been used) given in the following order:

  1. Person who has attended the most Winter Camps.
  2. Person who has spent the most nights at Winter Camp.
  3. Person who has attended the earliest Winter Camp.

These data are maintained by Jeff Rand. For example: At the end of Winter Camp XL, Dave Woods with 11 camps, 44 nights and a first appearance of 1990 was ahead of Tom Ray with 11 camps, 38 nights and a first camp of 1988.
