Winter Camp's Six Nations carried the thematic Olympics tradition into Winter Camp XX with a Day One pentathlon. Competition in the events was frequently delayed by the intense spirit of athleticism exhibited by many participants, but after the three-member Judges' Council had met and certified the results, it was the Hakawi Tribe which wore the gold medals. The Hakawis took a quick lead in the matches, winning the Stone Throw and the Relay Race, and never looked back. Tonto broke through for a victory in the Team Shotput event, which proved to be the closest of the five games. Less than the diameter of the shot separated Tonto from the next two squads, Chippewa Is Gay and the ever-present Hakawis. Indian Wrestling saw the first use of a tiebreaker, as both Incas Darnit and the Hakawis came through the round-robin with 4-1 records. Head-to-head competition was the first tiebreaker and saw the Hakawis awarded another top finish. By the time the Hatchet Toss rolled around, it had become clear that the real battle was for second place. As latecomer Roger Horn rolled into camp, he was greeted by the sight of Chippewa Is Gay triumphing over all other competitors en route to a win in the event and the overall silver medals. Despite their tie for fourth in the final event, no one could unseat the Hakawi Tribe.
