Satellite Recovery, at Winter Camp XLIII, was another Winter Camp game played with Alan Wilson's GPS black boxes. Crews were sent to locations to get items "stolen" from the museum and hidden in a difficult to find location. One crew went to Eagle's Nest cabin and one to Beaver Lake swamp. Participants were encouraged to use a pioneering solution to retrieve their artifacts, and each was given 100 feet of rope of rope to do so. Once the teams found their item, they were given GPS coordinates to rendezvous at a central location, which turned out to be the intersection point of all 3 D-A subcamps.
