Current Entry: Bellissimo Banquet
The Bellissimo Banquet served at Winter Camp XL appeared at first glance to be a relatively routine Italian dinner. Winter Camp being Winter Camp, nothing is routine. The feast featured a couple of notable oddities:
- Campers were permitted to use forks, which is not always the case when the Winter Camp menu calls for pasta.
- There was no marinara sauce served. Steve Donohue was particularly insistent on this point at the planning meeting.
Chicken fettucine alfredo was the meal's centerpiece, but the highlight was homemade cannolis that topped off the menu.
