The deluxe casino constructed at Trout Lake cabin for Winter Camp XXXVIII had several enhancements fervently championed by Jeff Rand at the planning meeting. These included a stage show, for which gaming took a brief break. Among the highlights of the revue was Ethan Rein's recitation of Robert W. Service's poem "The Cremation of Sam McGee".
