Current Entry: Jurassic World
Winter Camp XXXIX adopted "Jurassic World" as its theme. This theme was implemented in some ways that referenced the Jurassic Park book and movie series, with Dinosaur Cloning taking place at Chippewa and the Jurassic World film screened during camp. Other events were more generic dinosaur or prehistoric themed events. Meals included the Scavenged Dinner, Found Meal, and Bronto Burger dinner (with Flintstones-style ribs), which were new meals, and the Hot Dino Meal, Dinosaur Bacon Breakfast, and Dino Chili lunch, which attached thematic elements to old menus. Pterodactyl Kite Flying highlighted the dinosaur events. The Beaver Creek building was festooned with 6 inflatable dinosaurs perched in the rafters of the main room throughout the weekette.
