In the nineties, Hero Quest was a common sight at Winter Camp. The game, invented in 1989, is an early dungeon-crawler game. Each player takes control of one of several possible characters and they work as a group to overcome a nasty group of monsters controlled by the Gamemaster. The game had been absent for many years but the return of Brian Mann has also brought the game back. Many participants at Winter Camp XLI were engaged and entertained by a board game that has been out of print since before most of them were born. (SD)
