At Winter Camp I, Steve Donohue rose to new heights in sleeping on the first night when he constructed a three-level bunk and piled four mattresses on top. He climbed into the bunk and fell asleep while the others were still baking. Steve's reward for this was that the bakers decided to dip his hand in warm water. He reports that when he awoke, it was quite a challenge to get out of the triple bunk in time to avoid an accident. Ranger Dave Morosky later came in and saw the triple bunk. It was explained away as being "broken". He commented that "no one would sleep in that thing" and the Winter Camp crew, of course, agreed. (SD)
