The second Quest went to outer space, at Winter Camp XVII, and called upon teams of campers to challenge themselves both physically and mentally as they took on the roles of survivors of a crashed spaceship. They discovered traces of an earlier Winter Camp space flight and encountered two groups of natives, one who spoke no recognizable words and one who spoke only in one-syllable words. Clues were provided which led them around camp in search of an explanation of their location in space and time. Contained in the Library of the Allogagan, which had been placed by one Amikas Tawolla years earlier, was a 2376 doctoral dissertation from the Quantum Physics department at Winter Camp University. Dr. Mary Edward Bollman-Wilson had discovered how to use black holes for time travel, and the information indicated that the questing Arrowmen had traveled far forward in time, to 2976, but had remained on Earth.
