Current Entry: Southern Hospitality Banquet
Winter Camp XXI's banquet was a tribute to the cuisine of the Southern states. Roast chicken, cornbread, biscuits and gravy, and blueberry pie were among the menu items. The evening's pies were improvised by Mark Bollman--> without the aid of pie plates, which the kitchen was too late found to be lacking. No one objected too loudly.
When the meal returned at Winter Camp XXXIII, there was no pie plate shortage. Pulled pork was served as the main course.
