The Showdown at Winter Camp XXXIV returned to the woods behind Clearwater and saw two teams racing to break balloons over Beaver Creek (the stream, not the building) with stones, sticks, or teeth. The game was modified from its first Winter Camp appearance in 2008 (where it was called Artillery Battleship) to allow entry into, and later crossing of, the stream, and teams were required to break their opponent's balloons rather than their own. The Western team was declared the winner, and Drew Assenmacher left his mark as a skilled balloon biter.
