As part of Winter Camp XXV's Viking Theme, all campers were provided a chance to construct a Viking shield on Day One. Paul Kupser provided a collection of wire reel ends and the necessary tools and parts to assemble shields. Dave Oakley's Viking ship painting was generally judged to be the best design.
