Since approximately Winter Camp VI, when the first Winter Campers from outside Michigan attended, there has been an undeniable reunion component to Winter Camp. This role was solidified throughout the 1980's as numerous former Winter Campers made appearances for part of camp. At Winter Camp XX, all of the stops were pulled out and an effort was made to contact every past Winter Camper in preparation for the Winter Camp XX Reunion. Eight people who had not been seen recently in the Winter Camp universe made it to the Anniversary Dinner, which saw a new attendance record set as 41 Arrowmen participated in at least part of Winter Camp XX. Fully 30.37% of all Winter Campers were present full-time or part-time at the 1996 encampment.
The reunion scheduled for Winter Camp XXV in conjunction with the 162-Dish Banquet was less ambitious, but five veterans-Gary Allen, Howard Hammes, Brent Musolf, Steve Pejuan, and Reed Shannon-returned to camp. At Winter Camp XXVI, several of the Goons made a one-day visit to camp. Gary Allen and Mike Osvath each made an appearance at Winter Camp XXVII.
