In the earliest days of Winter Camp and the earliest days of home computers, computers were sufficiently novel that several campers developed unusual obsessions with computer gaming. Arrowmen who bunked near the computer corner in the BC building and heard keys clattering late into the night quickly coined the name "Rat-A-Tat-Tat Society" for this group of primeval cyberpunks. Steve Donohue compiled a list of the 5 top rat-a-tat-tatters for the Winter Camp Book of Lists; topping the charts were Mike Lowry and Lou Pezet.
