Winter Camp's version of reveille, this stirring brass tune never fails as a wake-up call. This tune, a solo for the short Aff English posthorn and band, was composed by German cornet soloist Herman Koenig. It premiered at Winter Camp III, on a cassette tape brought to camp by Doug Wilson. It was soon adopted as Winter Camp's official morning wake-up tune, and though it has not been heard much in recent years, no veteran who has been stirred from sleep by its melody will fail to associate it with Winter Camp.
