Original Entry: Another of the anonymous personalities dwelling on The Wall, Occasional Visitor has arguably done more for Winter Camp under his/her pseudonym than either Big Bro or Casual Observer by donating $20.07 to 1998's Stove Fund. This person admits to never having attended Winter Camp, and unlike the other anonymous Wall denizens, there is no reason to question her/his honesty. OV began to emerge from the cloud of secrecy at Winter Camp XXIII, when Steve Donohue received a package containing OV's hobby for 1999: a sampling of many of the hobbies assigned to other campers that year. Included in the box was First Contact, a log of OV's efforts throughout the year to meet Winter Campers online or in person, and a note to Jeff Rand admitting responsibility for the anonymous Frostys sent to the shopping crew for Winter Camps XXII and XXIII.
Epilogue: During 2000, OV emerged completely from her anonymity, finally admitting her identity on The Wall. Jeff Rand demanded positive identification from the now-defrocked Kristie Matz at the Winter Camp XXIV shopping excursion, and Kristie showed her passport as proof of identity. Kristie and Steve Donohue were married on March 24, 2001. Though Kristie let OV's original email address lapse, Mark Bollman--> eventually seized control of ovisitor@hotmail.com and preserves it as an electronic Winter Camp artifact.
