At the Winter Camp XXIII planning meeting, members sought a good dinner for Ceremonies Day. In a tactical error, Jeff Rand was allowed access to the Dead List, where he found "Mystery Meat". Other voices suggested that the impact of the meal be blunted by combining it with the Mexican meal, and the Mexican Mystery Meat Dinner was launched. When it came time to serve the dinner, though, Jeff's resourceful procurement of three mysterious meats was a lost effort, and a normal beef-based dinner was served. Jeff prepared the meats-bison, emu, and ostrich-and served them to interested Arrowmen after the Return of the Lenape ceremony.
