Current Entry: Murder Game
This game was arranged by the TRS-80 computer (program by Jeff Rand) and was held as background to ongoing events at Winter Camps III-XI. The computer took information about each participant-likes and dislikes, moral leanings, identification-and directed each to perform a series of actions which led to a day or two of role-playing. As the computer directives included murder, Arrowmen had to be consistently on their guard for the 24-48 hours of the game. Indeed, several years saw all-night patrols formed to guard against midnight killers. The Security Department or an appointed chief of police was charged with investigating crimes and making arrests, and a computer-chosen judge and bailiff presided over Winter Camp Criminal Court as suspects were tried.
