Steve Donohue constructed Winter Camp's first calendar in 2000 for 2001. Part of his motivation was noble: that many Winter Campers spend a great deal of time involved with and talking about people whom their wives and girlfriends knew nothing about-a gap which he set out to fill. Part of it was more whimsical: his girlfriend Kristie was taken with a scene in Paradox Metaphor in which John Howey runs into the BC building wearing bunny slippers, and said she'd pay good money for a picture of that. Steve combined a selection of old camp photos with pictures of most of the Winter Camp veterans (John included) wearing bunny slippers-but he received no money.
