Current Entry: Little Ozzie's Pizza
Mike Osvath took control of the Winter Camp pizza kitchen at Winter Camp VII, and Little Ozzie's Pizza was born. With its motto of " Good Food-Good Pizza" and its unique requirement that Arrowmen weigh in or estimate their weight on their order form when made-to-order pizza was introduced at Winter Camp VIII, a new set of traditions was created. Over time, Mike's name remained at the head of the Winter Camp pizza experience while others moved in for actual pizza creation duties.
At Winter Camp XV, the enterprise was dubbed " Little Charlie's Pizza" in recognition of an error made during Mike's 1991 wedding, when the minister called him " Charles" right up to the beginning of the vows. Oddly enough, there actually is a company called " Little Charlie's Pizza" . Their slogan is " The best pizza ONE can have" , a statement with which several folks who have sampled their wares might take issue. When Mike failed to attend Winter Camp XVII, Little Ozzie's vanished from the Winter Camp landscape, and Bollmano's Pizza rose to replace it.
