A big part of the pre-Winter Camp festivities for many years was the purchase of a cheap toy at Kmart. The toys were usually action figures, sometimes related to the theme, and always on the markdown rack. The leading practitioners of this tradition were John Howey and Dave Milon. Most often, the toy wound up in the Time Capsule. Several small toys found their way to the Winter Camp Museum at Winter Camp XXVI. (SD)
