It was planned to serve a chicken banquet at Winter Camp XVII, with eight different nationalities represented: Australian, Cajun, Chinese, French, Greek, Indian, Italian, and Japanese. However, no supplies were purchased, and when Day Four rolled around, it was decided to scrap this plan and to improvise a meal with the food remaining on hand. The resultant smorgasbord has been dubbed the Last Chance Potluck.
