Encyclopedia WinterCampica - Cabin Beautification
At the Winter Camp XXX Planning Meeting, Steve Donohue suggested that Winter Camp begin a semi-clandestine project to improve the appearance of the cabin interiors. The first stage in this quest was the purchase of two framed pictures which hung on the cabin walls during camp and were left in place at its conclusion. A picture of "three snooty waiters" was hung over the serving counter between the kitchen and the main room, and a picture of a beach on Fihalhohi Island in the Maldives was hung over the coat rack in the main room. Much to some people's amazement, the pictures were still present when Winter Camp XXXI launched. They were joined by photos of the Roman Forum and Colosseum, as a tribute to the Ancient Rome theme of Winter Camp XXXI. The pictures were missing when Winter Camp XXXV began.
