Often at Winter Camp planning meetings, ideas for meals are tossed out with no real thought for what the menu or associated activity might be, and so it was with the Blowtorch Snack. The general idea-cook things with blowtorches-was fairly obvious, but it was only after the idea had garnered considerable support and was being more seriously considered for the Winter Camp XXXIV menu that Gabe Church suggested "s'mores" and the meal began to make sense. Marshmallows were roasted and a tray of s'mores using both honey and cinnamon gra Ham crackers was assembled and served-though Gabe, who had previously planned to visit the Florida Sea Base over the 2010 holidays, was not there to enjoy the execution of his idea.
