Part of the "100 Years of the BSA" celebration at Winter Camp XXXIV was a daily shift in the appearance of the Winter Camp News. Era-appropriate headline fonts changed daily, and Jeff Rand provided copies of old print advertisements that appeared in several issues. These ads included one for Iver Johnson Revolvers (Absolutely safe! Accidental discharge impossible!) and Philip Morris cigarettes (Smoke for pleasure today-No cigarette hangover tomorrow!).
