Winter Camp IX was held December 27-31, 1985. There were a total of 26 attendees, 13 of whom were youth. The youth leader was Douglas Seman and the adviser was Steve Donohue.
The catchphrase for the year was "The Committee Strikes Back" because Many activities at Winter Camp IX were centered around the destruction - real or imainged of a force believed to be anti-Arrow. "The Committee Strikes Back" was the name given to a rewriting of Jeff Rand's classic "Last Ceremony" which led to the death of this enemy.
The event scored 303 on the Winter Camp Evaluation system.
