Winter Camp I was held December 27-30, 1977. There were a total of 6 attendees, 5 of whom were youth. The youth leader was Jeffrey Rand and the adviser was Douglas Wilson.
The catchphrase for the year was "We Finally Have an Adult" because Douglas Wilson's 21st birthday makes Winter Camp possible. While the idea of a chapter holiday encampment had been around as early as 1975, lack of available adult leadership forced a two-year wait for the realization of this plan.
The event scored 216 on the Winter Camp Evaluation system.
