Encyclopedia WinterCampica - First Meal On The Moon
In keeping with Winter Camp XLIII's Space theme, this breakfast replicated the menu of the first meal served aboard Apollo 11 on the moon's surface. Bacon strips were woven into squares to match the shapes consuming in 1969-the weaves were hard, though not impossible, to keep together. To these were added sugar cookie cubes, Tang, and Canned Peaches. The cookies were baked in James E. West cabin.
