At first planning, the Silly Walk was intended to be a thematic (Monty Python) label applied to the third version of the Perimeter Hike, scheduled for Winter Camp XLI. Prior to camp, the Perimeter Hike was postponed, and so the Silly Walk, on Day Four, traversed the perimeter of Trout Lake, some of it on the ice, and the adjoining wetlands, finishing in Oakridge campsite.
