Encyclopedia WinterCampica - Cornhole
Cornhole was part of the Pentathlon at Winter Camp XLII. Three countries competed by playing three games to eleven points. Each country played each other country once. Rules were based on the popular backyard and tailgate game. Each game was played with three sets of cornhole boards. As competitors threw beanbags at the boards, they were awarded points if their bags landed in the holes in the board or landed on the board. The center board was worth more than the two outer boards. Score were awarded based on wins and losses in each of the country's two games, and North Australiastan took first place. Dave Oakley provided the cornhole boards and bags for this event. (ER)
