An unscheduled activity, Steve Donohue and John Howey's precamp purchase of a slot-car track launched one of Winter Camp XV's more popular events. The track was housed in Clearwater and used Ron Donohue's batteries. Extensive testing indicated that the inside track had a slight edge and that the silver Thunderbird was superior to the black Camaro.
