This Winter Camp V meal was a soul food repast and was inspired by a chance sighting in the summer of 1981. Ron Donohue, Steve Donohue, and Jeff Rand were returning from a fund-raising project selling programs at the Michigan State Fair when they passed the Seven Bros market in Detroit. Once the dietetic slant of the market had been determined, the scheduling of a Winter Camp meal in its honor and its use as that meal's namesake were almost foregone conclusions. (RD)
