Encyclopedia WinterCampica - Recording Session
The first Winter Camp album was recorded in the Beaver Creek building at Winter Camp IX. Three songs, parodies with new lyrics by Steve Donohue, were recorded. While the CAG Funeral Song was certainly sung with great feeling, the limited musical acumen of the collected Winter Camp crew made it necessary to modify the lyrics so that the tune could be preserved. Also recorded that night were the Winter Camp Promotional Song and the Winter Camp Spirit Song.
