Encyclopedia WinterCampica - The Quest
The Quest is a multistage challenge which was introduced at Winter Camp XVI and took on the various camp themes at Winter Camps XVII (Space Quest), XVIII (Pirate Quest), XXI (Alien Quest), and XXII (Star Wars Quest). In the original Quest, each adult was charged with manning a station to provide either a mental or physical challenge to the participating youth members. The youth were to evaluate each station, thus providing some competition for the adults. At Winter Camp XVI, this included a station where youth were directed to climb a tree with ropes and a battle circle borrowed from Battle Chess.
