The Ancient Rome theme of Winter Camp XXXI was brought forward in time for lunch on Day Three. Internet research into Pope Benedict XVI's favorite dishes resulted in a meal of spaetzle, Green Beans, Sausage, and Pope Benedict's Cake, an apple-almond pastry. The spaetzle purchased for lunch cleared out most of the Taylor Meijer's stock, and hung in the Beaver Creek dining room as a makeshift decoration before being consumed.
